Our Mission

(aka Why We Bother)

We started Casual Athlete because not everyone who wears a hat is training for a triathlon. Some of us just want to look good at the grocery store, take a walk without overheating, or pretend we might go for a jog later.

Our mission? Simple: make great-looking, insanely comfortable hats for people who might work out, but also might just be walking their dog or hitting up a patio happy hour.

We’re not here to yell motivational quotes at you. We’re not optimizing your peak performance. We’re just making high-quality, thoughtfully-designed gear for folks who move at their own pace—and look good doing it.
